Junior Dive Academy – San Diego Youth Aquatic Adventure Camp

Ocean Enterprises’ Junior Dive Academy (JDA) is a hands-on aquatic program for kids ages 8 and up. Through a pool-based SCUBA experience, campers build water skills and lifelong confidence in the water.

In our Discover Scuba Single-Day Camps, campers will start the day with a short SCUBA dry land lesson followed by a short quiz. After that, campers will get to gear up and participate in-water SCUBA lessons.

Campers must be able to swim and be willing to participate in water activities. SCUBA medical questionnaire is required before in-water activities. Gear rental is included but we need to know your sizes ahead of time.

Camp Overview

• For Discover Scuba Camps: Ages 10-16 (Max Depth 12ft)
• For Bubblemaker Camps: Ages 8-12 (Max Depth 6ft)
• 1:4 instructor-to-camper ratio
• 10% off in-store snorkel gear purchases

Logistics & Safety

• Drop-off/pick-up is at West Hills High School (8756 Mast Blvd, Santee, CA 92071)
• A minimum of 3 campers is required.
• Full refund is available 7 days before the start date.

What to Bring

Campers should bring their own reusable water bottle, reef-safe sunscreen, swimsuit, sunglasses, towel, and warm clothes for changing. Bringing your own wetsuit and snorkel gear is encouraged but not required.
