Matt Cerezo - Assistant Instructor
Matt joined the OE team as a Divemaster in 2009 and has been fortunate to dive with many skilled and talented instructors, as well as help develop students while they pursue their diving adventures.
Matt’s dive-related interests include underwater photography, technical enriched air snorkeling, redundant P-valve theory, temporary dive float installation, and he holds the world record for the most Aquaseal used on a single exposure suit (46.2 gallons).
A graduate of San Diego State University with a degree in Marine Relationship Studies, Matt has done extensive research proving that sand dollars (Dendraster Excentricus) are monogamous.
Matt also holds certifications through Global Underwater Explorers (GUE) although he still has a quick release hidden somewhere on his harness.
