Curt joined the OE team in 2003 and has certified over 1200 student divers since becoming a PADI instructor in 2006. He has logged over 2000 dives throughout the Caribbean, Southeast Asia, the North Pacific, the South Pacific, the Central Eastern Pacific Ocean, and the Sea of Cortez. Curt teaches both recreational and technical diving, is a lifetime member of the San Diego Oceans Foundation and was a volunteer diver at the Birch Aquarium at Scripps for 15 years. 

A physiologist by training, Curt works in the SD pharmaceutical industry.
