Junior Dive Academy (Ages 8-12)
About the Camps
These five themed day camps run throughout the year, typically Monday to Friday, from 10 AM to 4 PM. Campers will engage in marine science, snorkeling, and even have the opportunity to try scuba diving in the pool! The camps focus on learning how to safely enjoy the ocean, taking steps toward SCUBA certification, and introducing basic freediving skills.
Campers can earn a PADI Skin Diver certification while enjoying guided snorkeling excursions and field trips. A key part of the experience is learning the importance of respectful human interaction with wildlife, ensuring both camper safety and animal well-being. Perfect for young ocean enthusiasts, these camps offer an unforgettable adventure, combining fun, education, and conservation, as campers explore San Diego's marine life while learning how to protect and respect it.
